Founder
Iara Vicente
Socio-environmental strategist, technology entrepreneur and Visiting Professor at Fundação Dom Cabral.
A sociologist trained at the University of Brasília, she holds a Master of Public Administration in Environmental Science and Policy from Columbia University — The Earth Institute and the School of International and Public Affairs. She brings 15 years of experience in bioeconomy, traditional peoples, environmental policy, innovation and governance.
She serves on councils and networks dedicated to human rights, connection, technology and human flourishing. Her career combines experience in environmental organizations, strategic consulting, technology product development and leadership education.
Background and recognition
She serves on the Advisory Board of Fundo Brasil de Direitos Humanos, the Board of the Latin American Association for Human Flourishing Studies, the Global Initiative for Human Connection and CITDigital.

01Regenerative technologyRegenerative technology does not start with software
Governance, relationships and clarity about who decides, who benefits and who sustains the solution all come before the tool.

Digital technologies can make information verifiable, connect stakeholders and reduce coordination costs. But infrastructure is only regenerative when its architecture also recognizes asymmetries, protects rights and distributes decision-making capacity.
In practice, this means designing technology with the territory — not merely for it. Code becomes part of a network that already contains knowledge, trust, conflict and possibility.
02Territorial intelligenceTerritory is not a layer on a map
Geospatial data expands analytical capacity, but it does not replace the social, legal and ecological reading of each place.

A polygon can show vegetation cover, water and overlaps. Even so, the quality of a decision depends on understanding community ties, historical uses, documentation, productive potential and pressures on the land.
Territorial intelligence emerges where technical evidence meets qualified listening. This combination transforms data into strategy and reduces the risk of solutions that are environmentally sound on paper but fragile in reality.
03TraceabilityTraceability that builds trust
Recording information is not enough: its origin, verification process and relevance to decision-making must be clear.

Blockchain, remote sensing and MRV protocols can strengthen the integrity of value chains and environmental commitments. Their value, however, is not in accumulating data — it is in making responsibilities and criteria understandable.
Useful traceability combines technical rigor, accessible communication and governance. It becomes more than a compliance requirement and starts supporting cooperation, market access and innovation.
